Job Title: 1:1 SEN LSA with Autism

Job Duties:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an educational setting
- Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour interventions
- Assist in classroom activities and promote social interaction
- Support the learning and development of students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a supportive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with Autism or SEN
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques
Education:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Experience:
Prior experience working with individuals with Autism or SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and SEN strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with special needs
Working Conditions:
- Work in a classroom setting within an educational institution

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
