Job Duties:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them access the curriculum
- Implement individualised education plans under the guidance of the SENCO
- Assist with the personal care needs of students as required
- Support the emotional and social development of students
- Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN requirements and strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Work within a school setting
- Potential exposure to challenging behaviours
- Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
