Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a school setting.
  • Manage challenging behaviour effectively, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a demanding yet rewarding educational setting, requiring flexibility and resilience to support students with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.

Part-time or full-time considered, QTS/QTLS/CertED/Gradudate.
