SEN Learning Support Assistant

As a Graduate Learning Student Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and more. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide individualized assistance to students who may need additional support to excel academically key stages 3-5.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting students with understanding key concepts 
  • Providing one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
  • Helping students develop effective study skills and organizational strategies.
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop tailored learning plans for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for working with young people and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting or with young people is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
