ob Advert: EYFS Nursery HLTA – LS17 Area (ASAP Start)

We are looking for a dedicated HLTA to join a friendly nursery team in the LS17 area. This full-time role involves supporting children in their daily nursery activities and contributing to their development in a caring and stimulating environment.

Role Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: LS17 area
  • Hours: Full-time, with additional duties for breakfast and after-school clubs one day per week.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support within the nursery, helping children thrive in a fun and engaging setting.
  • Assist in implementing the EYFS curriculum through play-based learning.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Promote children’s personal, social, and emotional development.

Additional Duties:

  • Cover PPA time as required, delivering planned lessons or activities.
  • Assist with mealtimes, encouraging healthy eating.
  • Provide intimate and personal care when needed, ensuring children’s comfort and dignity.
  • Support breakfast and after-school clubs one day per week.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience in EYFS settings.
  • A caring, patient, and flexible approach to supporting children.
  • A valid, enhanced DBS check on the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
