We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work 1:1 with a student in a reputable Uxbridge school that champions inclusion and student growth. As part of this dynamic and supportive school community, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping a student with special educational needs reach their full potential in a caring, structured environment.
Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
In this role, you’ll:
- Provide tailored, one-on-one support to a student with SEN, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
- Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement personalized strategies and interventions.
- Use your patience, empathy, and strong communication skills to create a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Prior work as a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker, especially with SEN students, is ideal.
- Knowledge of SEN: Familiarity with needs like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or speech and language challenges.
- Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Passion: A genuine desire to support and empower students with special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
