Job Duties:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving learning objectives
  • Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN

Education:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN and different learning needs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 3 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily within a school setting
  • Regular full-time hours
  • Potential for occasional additional hours or support outside of regular school hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
